Surgery

Crocker Veterinary  Care may recommend surgery for your pet. If surgery is necessary we may recommend pre-surgical bloodwork and anesthetic monitoring for your patient. We always take great care to monitor your pet's vitals during surgery. We also ensure that your pet has a safe and comfortable recovery from anesthesia by constant monitoring post-surgery.

We use only the safest available anesthesia to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients.

Our veterinarian team uses the latest surgical techniques and equipment, including ultrasonography and radiography.

They have the expertise and experience to perform various soft tissue, elective, orthopedic and emergency procedures, some of which are listed below.

  • Spay (females)

  • Neuter (males)

  • Tumor Removal/Biopsies

  • Minor Orthopedic Procedures

  • Cherry Eye Repair

  • Puppy Dewclaw Removal and Tail Docking

  • C-Sections

  • Laceration Repairs

Crocker Veterinary Care understands that separation from your beloved pet is stressful and try to limit their stay to one night. We ask that your pet be checked into our hospital the evening prior to surgery to give us the opportunity to perform a thorough pre-surgical exam and any necessary bloodwork. Your pet will be ready to go home the evening of the procedure if they are recovering well and further monitoring is not required.  The veterinarians and staff at Crocker Veterinary Care strive to provide compassion and quality medicine during your pets entire stay in our hospital.
